Before joining Orange Grove Center in 2021, Jim Lockwood had 26 years of experience working in social service organizations in Florida, Texas and California. Jim has served as Executive Director of the California Association of Family Empowerment Centers, Lekotek Family Resource Center and SOS Children’s Village of Florida. During a break from social services Jim started Coryan Inc., a web design company, and later worked as a Data Analyst for TVA.

Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Religious Education from Cumberland College and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has served as a board member of his local Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Cloudland Canyon and the Alta California Regional Center. When not working, Jim can usually be found on the trails or waterways enjoying the outdoors.
