Patti has worked at the Orange Grove Center (OGC) for 25 years, first in the Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) department, then later in the Supported Living department, working her way up to Assistant Director. She is now the first Director of the Orange Grove Center on Aging, Dementia and Longevity. Patti is a Dementia Capable Care Certified Instructor through CPI and is also trained as a regional instructor through the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities (NTG). She has also completed training to be able to teach the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program. Patti is the co-author of the OGC Comprehensive Dementia Care program training cirriculum, the co-editor of "Memory Matters", an electronic newsletter providing current research and care advice about dementia, and the co-director of the Virtual Dementia Tour program at OGC. Her goal at OGC and in the community is to assist others in aging successfully.
